A Cool Gift

This afternoon, our PSCF volunteers felt the palpable happiness of Mdm K after presenting her family with with a fridge.

Mdm K is a second-time beneficiary, after we had given her family a washing machine earlier in February.

She and her husband are both on wheelchairs - she is a polio victim whilst her husband lost his legs in an accident.

They have no children and are currently living in a rental flat, and getting by on her CPF payout.

Mdm K had requested for a bigger refrigerator as her current one was too small for her needs, and it was also not working very well.

We were delighted to have helped her family in a small but meaningful manner, and making things a little easier for this hospitable couple!
